I ran the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving, and did pretty much my usual time, despite the renewed pain!
I have decided to take a one month break from running, in an attempt to heal my injury. I am going to concentrate on increasing some of my "core" strength by practicing some Pilates exercises. I also purchased a book on chi running -- "CHI RUNNING" by Danny Dreyer, with Katherine Dreyer. I am going to see if the principles in this book will help me to run with fewer injuries. I always seem to get an overuse injury during training, no matter how gradual I try to increase my distance/pace.

I bought that book about a year ago! It IS helpful, but I think I'd like to attend one of his workshops sometime. Let me know if you decide to do one; maybe we could go together. :-)
