Since yesterday was my first long run in a while, I knew today should be a short run.  I was surprised at how well I felt, though.  I wanted to run longer, but I have a tendency to over-train right before a race and it seems like I always end up with some sort of injury or soreness.  So, today I did the back way to the high school and then back to the Riverside loop, ending, as usual, with the sprint up the hill.  I ended up with 4.25 miles.  I felt great when I was finished.
